Appities Terms of Service

Service

Appities provides an editor to design a mobile app for your Shopify store, hosting of the published design, push notifications, analytics, and a pipeline to build and submit the app to Apple App Store and Google Play using developer accounts you own.

Billing

Paid plans are billed through Shopify on a 30-day cycle and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period unless Shopify prorates it.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your store content, the notifications you send, compliance with Apple and Google guidelines, and informing your shoppers about data processing in your own privacy policy. Do not send unsolicited or misleading notifications.

Data processing agreement

For personal data of your shoppers, you are the controller and STools Digital is the processor. We process it only to provide Appities and only on your documented instructions (these terms and your in-app settings).

We keep it confidential, restrict access to authorized staff bound by confidentiality, apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy (TLS, AES-256-GCM encryption at rest for push tokens, keyed hashing for order IDs), and use only the subprocessors listed there, notifying you before adding new ones.

We notify you without undue delay, and within 72 hours, after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your shoppers. We assist you with data subject requests and honor Shopify's customers/redact, customers/data_request and shop/redact requests.

We delete shopper data according to the retention periods in our Privacy Policy and after uninstall when Shopify sends shop/redact.

Liability

Appities is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for Appities in the 12 months before the claim.
